Terms of Use

By downloading, signing in to or using Famloop, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Famloop lets a family share their locations with each other in a private group called a Loop, set Safe Arrival Timers, receive alerts when members arrive at or leave saved places, send check-ins and raise an SOS to their own Loop.

Famloop only works when each person installs the app, joins a Loop and turns on location sharing themselves. There is no hidden mode, and no way to add someone remotely or by phone number.

You must not use Famloop to monitor anyone without their knowledge and agreement. Setting up a device for another person in order to track them covertly is a misuse of the app, may be unlawful where you live, and we will terminate accounts used that way.

If you set up Famloop for a child or a family member who needs help doing it, they must still be told that their location is being shared and with whom.

SOS alerts the members of your own Loop. It does not contact emergency services, and Famloop is not a monitored alarm system. In an emergency, call your local emergency number first.

Location accuracy, alert delivery and background updates depend on your device, its settings, its battery and your network connection — none of which we control. Do not rely on Famloop as the sole safeguard in a situation where someone's safety depends on it.

Keep your sign-in details and your app PIN to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@famloop.us if you think someone else has access to it.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live. A parent or guardian is responsible for accounts they set up for children in their family.

Do not use Famloop to harass, stalk, threaten or monitor anyone without their consent; to break the law; to interfere with the service or try to reach data that is not yours; or to resell or redistribute the app.

Famloop has a free plan. Premium Family raises every limit and unlocks the additional features described on the pricing page. One purchase covers everyone in your Loop.

Subscription. Premium Family is available as a subscription at $29.99 per year, including a 7-day free trial. It renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged within 24 hours of the period ending. Manage or cancel it in your Apple Account or Google Play settings — not in Famloop, because the store handles the billing.

One-time purchase. Premium Family Lifetime is a single payment of $49.99. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. It does not include a free trial.

Prices shown are United States prices and vary by region and store. The price shown in the app at the moment of purchase is the one that applies. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies, not by us.

If you cancel or your subscription lapses, the Free plan continues to work. Nothing is deleted; you simply cannot add beyond the Free limits until you are back under them.

Your messages, places, photos and location data remain yours. You grant us only the permission needed to operate the service — to store that data, and to show it to the members of Loops you have chosen to share with.

We try to keep Famloop running and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any location, alert or notification will be delivered on time or at all. Features may change or be withdrawn as the app develops.

You can stop using Famloop and delete your account at any time from inside the app. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, particularly the consent requirement above.

To the extent the law allows, Famloop is provided "as is", and Aifinity Solutions is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it — including any outcome of a location, alert or notification being delayed, inaccurate or undelivered.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

This section is being finalised. In the meantime, nothing here affects the statutory consumer rights you have where you live.
